    The main objectives of M.P.M. Programme are :

      • To provide basic analytical tools required by managers involved in Personnel Function.

    1. Examination Systems & Standard of Passing :


    Examinations will be conducted at the end of each semester. i.e. during November & May.

    For each paper 30 % marks will be based on Internal Assessment and 70 % marks for semester end examination (External Assessment). The division of 30 Marks allotted to Internal assessment of theory papers is on the basis of tutorial work and written test of 10 marks and Seminar and presentations 20 Maks).

    Standard of Passing is 40 % in individual course as well as aggregate.

    1. Field Work Report :

    At the end of First Semester, Field Work Report has to be submitted to the Director of the Institute by each student by complying following guilelines.

    • Visit factory site and observe working of the personnel & labour administration.

    • Planned inspection visit to understand the state of affairs relating to safety and work environment.

    • Visit to Industrial canteens, trade unions and workers education centers etc.

    • General observation about any organization or industrial unit regarding personnel, Industrial Relation or HR practices.


    1. Project Report :

    The students have to submit the Project Report in the mid of the 3rd Semester. Project Report will carry 100. The Project Report will be prepared by considering following conditions :

    • The purpose of doing the project is to provide practical exposure of Industrial functional at all levels.

    • The Topic, Title and contents will clearly indicate and relate to any relevant area of personnel, industrial relations, human resource development or human resource management.

    • The essentials of research methodology shall be applied at relevant stages while preparing the report.

    • Student shall visit concerned industrial unit and observe study, interact and conclude the report with relevant suggestions on the topic.

    Diploma in Computer Management (PGDCM)

    1. Introduction :

    The D.C.M.Programme will be Part Time, One Years Diploma Course in Computer Management divided into Two Semesters. Every semester will consist of 4 Subjects each (including Practicals & a project Work).

    1. Assessment :

    The final total assessment of the candidate is made in terms of an internal assessment & external assessment for each course (subject). For each paper 20 % marks will be based on Internal assessment & 80 % marks will be based on External Assessment. The Internal Marks will be communicated to the University at the end of the each Semester. These marks will be considered for declaration of the results.


    1. Examination & Standard of Passing :

    Examination will be conducted at the end of each semester. i.e.November/December and April/May.

    Every candidate must secure 40 % marks in each subject.

    General Rules & Regulations


    1. Attendance : 75% attendance is necessary as per the rules of University of Pune.

    2. Course Timings : 6.30 pm to 8.30 p.m. for MPM PGDCM & DTL

    3. Eligibility :

    • For MPM Programme :- Graduate in any Faculty from recognised University.

    • For PGDCM Programme :- Graduate in any Faculty from recognised University OR Any Diploma awarded by Board of Technical Education of any State Govt. or Central Govt. with one year post diploma experience.

    • For DTL Programme:- Graduate in any Faculty from recognised University.

    1. Syllabus : According to Syllabus framed by University of Pune. Syllabus revision is applicable from time to time.

    2. Code of Conduct for Students : Every Student admitted to this Institute will abide by the Code of Conduct mentioned in Ordinance No.157 of University of Pune.

    Fees to be paid

    1. Student will have to pay the total annual fees for the course before commencement of the Academic Year 2009-2010.

    1. Refund of Caution Money & Library Deposit : The Deposit will be refunded to the students upto 3 years after completion of the Course. Thereafter no Deposit will be refunded under any circumstances.
