    1. Examination System & Standard of Passing

      1. Every Candidate must secure 40 % marks in each held of passing.

      2. The passing marks for external examination will thus by 28 out of 70 and for Internal Examination 12 out of 30 and aggregate marks taking both together will be 40 marks.

      3. For each paper, 30% marks will be based on internal assessment and 70 % marks for semester end examination (external assessment)

      4. Project work will carry 60 marks for Internal Assessment & 140 Marks of external Viva.

      5. Two semesters backlog can be carried to the third semester.

      6. At the time of declaration of the results, marks obtained by a Candidate will be converted into Class as shown below. The Class will be awarded on the basis of aggregate marks scored by the student as shown in the table below :

      1. Practicals & Project Work :

      Towards the end of second year of study, a student will be examined in the course "Project Work".

      Project work may be done individually or in groups in case of bigger projects. If it is done in groups, each student will work on a distinct module. Students must take guidance from an Internal Guide and prepare a Project Report and submit two copies to the Director before 1st March, wherever possible a separate file containing source code listings should also be submitted. The Project Report should be prepared in a format prescribed by the University. Project Work can be carried out in the Institute or outside with prior permission of the Institute. The external Viva-voce examination for Project Work would be held in March/April of the Second Year of study by a panel of two external examiners.

      1. Eligibility for Admission :

      A student seeking admission to MBS must have passed Two Year's Diploma in Business Management or Two Year's Diploma in Management Science of any statutory University & ATMA score is desirable.(ATMA 2010)

      1. Duration & Structure of the Course :

      The Course will be of one years duration, with two semesters, each semester consisting of 5 papers each. In Semester I & II the student shall be examined for a special subject consisting of 7 papers pertaining to any one of the following functional areas of Management.

      1. Assessment & Standard of Passing :

      The Papers marked "External" are meant for External Evaluation by the University and carry 100 marks each. Out of 100 marks, 40 marks are reserved for Internal Evaluation and 60 marks are reserved for University evaluation base upon the Written Examination. Paper marked "Internal" are meant for Internal Evaluation by the Individual Institute.

      External papers (100 Marks each) will be evaluated by University. Out of 100 Marks , 40 Marks are reserved for Internal Evaluation and 60 Marks are reserved for University Examination. Internal Papers are to be evaluated by Institutes entirely.

      General Rules & Regulations


      1. Attendance : 75% attendance is necessary as per the rules of University of Pune.

      2. Course Timings : 8.00 am to 2.30 p.m. for MCM &
                                         7.45pm to 8.15pm for MBS(PGDBM)

      3. Syllabus : According to Syllabus framed by University of Pune. Syllabus revision is applicable from time to time.

      4. Code of Conduct for Students : Every Student admitted to this Institute will abide by the Code of Conduct mentioned in Ordinance No.157 of University of Pune.

      Fees to be paid

      1. Student will have to pay the total annual fees for the course before commencement of the Academic Year 2010-2011. Institute has submitted MCM/MBS(PGDBM) fee praposal to Shikshan Shulka Samiti,Mumbai.

      2. Rules for Refund of Fees are given below.

      1. Refund of Caution Money & Library Deposit : The Deposit will be refunded to the students upto 3 years after completion of the Course. Thereafter no Deposit will be refunded under any circumstances.
