Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Management(PGDCM)

Introduction
  1. The name of the program shall be post Graduate Diploma in Computer Management (PGDCM).

  2. PGDCM Programme will be a Part-Time one year's Diploma Course in Computer Management. It will consist of 8 papers of 800 marks (Including Practical and a Project Work).

Eligibility for Admission

Graduate of any Statutory University. OR Diploma awarded by recognised Board of technical Education of State or Central Govt. with 1 year experience shall be eligible for admissions to the PGDCM Course.

Project Work and Practicals

As a part of the Course, Students will have to complete their Practical and Project work under the guidance of an Internal Guide and prepare a Project report in 3 copies to be submitted to the Director.

The Project should consist of a practical problem related to an Industrial / Service Organisation. The Practical and Project Work will be assessed by the Institute internally and marks allotted for project would be included in the marks for paper titled Practicals & Mini Project during second semester of PGDCM Programme. Practicals would be based on subject covered during the semester. Students are expected to complete a Mini Project to give them understanding of a real life business situation. Both Practical assignment and Mini Project would be evaluated internally, based on submissions and viva voce.


Standard of Passing & Examination
  1. For each Paper, 20% marks will be based in Internal Assessment and 80% marks for Semester and External Examination.

  2. Every Candidate must secure 40% marks in each subject

  3. There will be Semester End Examination i.e. November / December and April / May.


Fees to be Paid

Students will have to pay the total annual fees for the course before commencement of the Academic Year.
Rs 23021/- for A.Y 2010-11(Provisional Fees)

Admission

Admission will be given on the basis of All India Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) score. ATMA will be conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS).

Attendance

75% attendance is necessary as per the rules of University of Pune.
