Master of Business Studies (MBS) [Formerly Master of Management Science(MMS)]

Eligibility for Admission

A Student seeking admission to MBS must have passed Two Years Diploma in Business Management or Two Years Diploma in Management Science of any statutory University.

Duration & Structure of the Course

The Course will be of one years duration, with two semesters, each semester consisting of 5 papers each. In Semester I and II, the student shall be examined for a special subject consisting of 7 papers pertaining to any one of the following functional areas of Management.

Group A - Marketing Management
Group B - Financial Management
Group C - Computer Management
Group D - Production & Materials Management
Group E - Human Resource Management

Standard of Passing

The minimum standard of passing will be 40% marks in each paper for Internal as well as External Heads.

Fees to be Paid
Rs 16225/- for MBS A.Y 2010-11(Provisional Fees) Rs 17225/- for MBS(System) A.Y 2010-11(Provisional Fees)

Students will have to pay the total annual fees for the course before commencement of the Academic Year.

Admission

Admission will be given on the basis of inter-se-merit of PGDBM results.

Attendance

75% attendance is necessary as per the rules of University of Pune.
